How to create DigitalOcean Droplets

DigitalOcean servers guide

In this guide, you will learn how to use DigitalOcean to install servers.

First of all, you should have an account. For registration, you must have a credit/debit card or PayPal. You can create your account here.

After registration, you need to create Droplets using the button “Create” in the right top or this instruction: Manage -> Droplets -> Create Droplets:

Then choose a distribution (“Ubuntu 16.04”) and size (we recommend “standard Droplets 5$/mo”) and any datacenter region and press “Create”:

Click on your droplet title, and then click on access in the left menu:

Here you can see two buttons: launch console and reset the root password.
At the first time when you entered the server, you must reset your password before access to the console.

Click reset and check your email, you’ll get an email with your root password. Save it and use it for the first server entrance.

Now click on launch console button and you will see the new window appeared:

Your login is “root”, and password you got when clicked reset root password.
When you entering your password you see that nothing has changed, don’t worry this is default Linux behavior for passwords.
If you entered your password correctly, you should create the new one password.
Enter your new password a second time to confirm.

Now you are on the server. The only thing left to do is just copy and paste next command:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dominantcoin/Masternode-Setup-Script/master/dmtcs_install.sh &&

Now such window has appeared:

Wait a few minutes and then:

You can find this key in your masternode.conf. After pasting key, push enter.

 You installed your server.

If you do this from the previous post, you should back to your wallet, wait until 15 transactions will pass, and run masternode from your wallet.

Congratulations!
You have your MN installed.
